Sustainable Agriculture

Our Area of Work

Carbon credit in agriculture (Nature-based solution)

purncare  is working with farmers who is having bamboo, agroforestry, and organic farming model .
Agricultural carbon credit is an electronic form of payment representing one ton of carbon dioxide emissions that has been successfully reduced on a farm where sustainable production practices have been implemented. This reduced emissions product can be bought and sold through a market-based form of carbon trading. Agricultural carbon credits are created when farmers adopt practices such as conservation tillage, revegetation of degraded lands, building of bio digesters, animal waste management, and agroforestry that reduce carbon dioxide emissions. This form of carbon trading incentivizes farmers to implement sustainable practices, while allowing polluters such as industry and energy companies to compensate for their emissions.

Waste management

Water recycling: Eco sewage treatment plant is for converting or recycling sewage from sewage to use in gardening etc. It can prevent water bodies from being polluted by sewage pollutants

Our target customers: MNCs, corporate companies, gram panchayat, a government institutions.

Energy management

Our primary aim is to make india independent on fossil fuels instead of using the conventional energy sources use Sustainable and non conventional resources
We are working in setting up new plants as well as consultants for environmental safety and sustainability .
For plants who needs to reduce the emission with technology
Like

  •   Bio CNG

  •   Ethanol and methanol

  •   Boi diesel

  •   Solar power

  •   Wind energy

The production of energy like BIO - CNG, ethanol ,bio-diesel will also help in building farmers economy and they are clean energy sources

Livestock management

1. Invest in Climate Change Adaptive Livestock Breeds: Investing in breeds that are adapted to climate change will allow ranchers to adapt their herds to changing environmental conditions and remain resilient in the face of climate change. Heat-tolerant breeds, such as the N’Dama and Africander, can survive and thrive in hot, dry environments as well as in areas prone to flooding.

2. Practice Climate-Friendly Grazing Practices: The use of rotational grazing is a great way to reduce the risk associated with climate change. When correctly managed, it can reduce overuse of the land and prevent the soil from becoming degraded and susceptible to drought. Additionally, grazing in a way that takes into account the forage growth patterns of each pasture can reduce stocking rates and increase the resilience of the herd to climate extremes.

3. Plant Climate-Resistant Forages: Planting forages that are better adapted to climate change and that are able to remain quality throughout wet, hot, and dry climatic conditions can improve the resilience of the herd and increase the success rate of the business. Some great options include alfalfa, sorghum, and tall fescue.

4. Incorporate Climate Change Risk Management Strategies: Developing strategies to manage risks associated with climate change, such as drought and rising temperatures, can help ranchers maintain a stable enterprise in the face of a changing environment. Some climate risk-management strategies that may be beneficial include investing in robust insurance policies, using hedging strategies to mitigate risk, and diversifying production.

Sustainable Agriculture Bamboo, Agro forestry Consultation

1. Encourage farmers to adopt sustainable agricultural practices such as rotating crops, using organic fertilizers, minimizing chemical inputs, and using protective crop management.

2. Promote the use of beneficial insects and birds to naturally control pests.

3. Advocate for sustainable water use and soil conservation practices and encourage the use of cover crops to help improve soil health.

4. Suggest ways to maximize the use of renewable energy sources in agricultural production, such as solar-powered irrigation systems, wind turbines, and methane digesters.

5. Advocate for ecologically sound waste management strategies that reduce agricultural waste and pollution.

6. Promote wildlife-friendly agricultural practices, such as using birdhouses, leaving uncultivated areas, and providing habitat for beneficial insects.

7. Encourage farmers to engage in agroforestry and integrated farming, which combine agricultural production with reforestation and conservation practices.

8. Educate farmers, policy makers, and the public about the importance of sustainable agricultural practices.
